The small Caribbean island of Anguilla including a small Catholic Church was heavily dusted with an ash fall from the active Volcano on the Island of Montserrat. The island of Montserrat is located about 100 miles to the Southeast of Anguilla.
Saint Gerard Catholic Church, a small hill top church was heavily dusted with Ash on Saturday which almost canceled Sunday service. A group of parishioners joined together with Father Ed and cleaned the church area and grounds so that Sunday Mass and Sunday School would proceed.
This is the only church on the island.
